Winter shades!!

Autumn/Winter 2012, The dark romantic nail varnish tones are bang on trend this season and I love them all!
They are a great alternative to black and are looking big in the beauty world at the minute!
Black is still a favourite of mine and its a classic for the winter months. I do love the way black has stepped out of that comfort zone and upped the game with the new matte vs glossy range it gives it that darker-then-dark edgy look.
I have the YSL duo set, personally I'm not that keen on how the varnish goes on, its not my favourite  brand, I'm a big lover of Essie...and have just purchased some of there new season colours, cant wait to use them!

Other colours that are a popular choice across the beauty brands this season are deep royal blues, rich emerald greens, metallic greys and rich burgundy's.

One of the hottest trends this season is undoubtedly burgundy make-up, and I'm absolutely loving it. Its such a mysterious, yet inviting colour- perfect for winter!! Its also very seductive and sexy...
Its a popular colour when it comes to lipstick, but also looks great on your nails and eyes....
I have treated myself to some new Nars make-up this month, I think they have the best range of Burgundy colours.
Also I brought a dark burgundy lipstick from Topshop, which I have fallen in love with, the colour is called Inhibition, looks amazing on a night out!

Im still a big fan of the classic red lippy,  So I have also treated myself to a new Tom Ford lipstick called cherry lush...it goes on really creamy and its really moisturising, which always helps in the winter months. I recommend Tom Ford to everyone, its amazing make-up... my personal favourite, along with Nars.

I've been a very naughty girl this month, got loads more amazing purchases to share with you guys....

Tink Couture Bikini's from Studio 34 Boutique.

So everyone knows that I'm bikini mad...I have sooo many difference colours and styles, Beach Bunny and Victoria's Secret being some of my all time favs... I wanted to show you my recently purchased bikini's and new brand I have found and fallen in love with!!!
The pink/purple one with gold detail is my fav...its custom made along with the orange and nude one..I love them because they are very unique and one of a kind!!
I found these bikinis on my travel's at work, I came across this amazing little boutique called Studio 34 in a small village called Henley, Warwickshire.
The brand of these bikinis are Tink Couture, they have some mega pieces including head jewellery, Kaftans and bangles! They're a favourite to the The Only way is Essex cast including billie Mucklow, Cara Kilbey  and Frankie Essex, so i just had to have one!!!

Studio 34 is a gem of a boutique and I'm so glad I came across it, the lovely ladies in there are so friendly and very helpful and made you feel very welcome unlike other high end boutiques. Its brimming with fabulous clothes, jewellery and home accessories. Definitely check out there website http://shoponline.studio34.uk.com/

Here are a few other designs from Tink couture....bikinis and head jewellery.
In LOVE with this royal blue bikini, amazing colour!!!!

To order any of the Tink couture bikinis follow them on twitter @custompixie or pop into the studio 34 boutique....

Nike blazers....

Recently I have found a love for Nike blazers, to be honest I'm not usually a trainer kind of girl, I do love my cons but at heart I'm a red sole lover!! What I love about the Nike blazers is the fun cute girlie colours and patterns they come in, I purchased the lilac ones which I absolutely love, the pastel colour is bang on trend this summer. They are quiet pricey, I paid £77 for mine but you can get different styles cheaper.

I wear my Blazers very casual but still try to keep it quiet girlie, below I have shown you what I would pair mine with. They look great with a loose tee and some skinny jeans, finished off with some gold jewellery and my fav Nars lipgloss to make it look a little more feminine.

These are all the girlie pastel colours and quirky patterns and materials available...Im also a big fan of the pink and orange suede pair ( next on my wish list )

My new make-up storage

Hey, sorry for the delay on new blog posts and updates, been a very busy bee with work and on holiday (Ibiza holiday post to follow) but first i just wanted to show you all my new make- up storage which I LOVE!!!!
I have recently been on the hunt to organise my make-up in a innovative way....I found these clear acrylic boxes in Selfridges, London, by Muji and they were perfect, just what I had been looking for
and very good value.

This shape is wicked to store all your brushes and bits and bobs....

Eyeshadows fit well in the draws.....

All my lip sticks and lip glosses....

Found this style box and thought it would be perfect to store all my nail varnishes...

They come in all different shapes and sizes which is ideal for all types of make-up. I also love the fact that they're clear and its easy to find what you're looking for rather than hunting through your draw, saves so much time when your rushing for work in the morning or for that cheeky date....

My bag collection....

My Bag Collection

Clothes can reflect frumpy and fat days, hair can get greasy or just not "go", shoes can rub and cause blisters…but…handbags. Well, where do I begin with my passion for handbags?

From a sleek leather day bag, to a glitzy swarovski crystalled evening clutch, a handbag is a statement piece which you have to get just right - every time. My personal favourite, Chanel. Coco Chanel is a fashion icon and her creations are the stuff of a legend. Maintaining classic lines and keeping style to a minimum - the Chanel handbag is a sure winner every time. I have 3 in my collection so far which have been collected over the last few years. The classic black is perfect for every outfit, and looks great with a flash of colour - deffo this season!Whereas the nude is more classic, an "investment" I convinced myself at the till (these things are pricy! £££)!!!! It goes perfectly with a lunchtime outfit, but quickly reforms into a glam evening bag with that LBD at the click of a finger. So the Chanel is classic, however my latest new editions are the cherries on top of my cupcake…The black Celine boasts suede finishing and a leather touch…simple yet brilliant - this handbag seems to maintain the "it" status in every category. The Prada is a tad more formal, making it great for those hectic business meetings on Regents Street, but not an evening wear bag. They both finish any outfit off nicely and are top of the trend this season.I have no doubt that my handbag obsession will slow down anytime soon, so keep a look out for my next new purchase! Sssshhh don't tell the bank!

The classic white tee...

I'm a big fan of the classic white t-shirt, from the classic round neck to the daring plunge,  its something that every girl should have in their wardrobe.
What i like about a white tee is it's versatility, it can be worn either very casual or dressed up to look cool and edgy...
Here are a few looks I love above.
When i'm going for a more casual look, i like to twin my white tee with some dark denim jeans and a chunky necklace with a boyfriend blazer to finish off the look.
At night, an oversized white tee with leather trousers and sky high Louboutin's looks subtle but incredibly sexy! Take it to the next level by mixing it up with leather shorts, to show off those tanned pins!
A white Tee is a classic timeless item that i LOVE.....

Disco Pants...

I treated myself to something that I've wanted for ages, they do come with a hefty price tag of £70 but are worth the money. Disco Pants are American Apparel's famous best selling legging/trouser/pant beauties (think Bad-Ass Sandy), and are not for the faint hearted. They are very high waisted, very figure hugging, but also extremely flattering and are renowned for being able to suck you in in all the right places whilst at the same time showing off curves to give you a really slinky silhouette.
I really love how versatile they are, and can be worn in so many different ways to achieve different looks.
I rocked my new disco pants at the weekend with a white tee and red high top converse....

  1. Pair your disco pants with a simple plain or band t-shirt with rolled up sleeves to give a relaxed, grunge look. I think they'd look really cute with a high ponytail and a pair of scruffy Converse.
  2. Disco pants seem to make everyone that wears them instantly look unique and edgy (even though everyone seems to have them). Paired with either a buttoned up shirt or a loose fitting one, they look really chic and effortlessly fashionable.
  3. I opted for the black pair as I think they look great when incorporated into a monochrome outfit. I particularly love the 5th look with the blazer and bowler hat.
  4. Disco pants are a really great addition to a wardrobe for this time of year, to help with the transition between Winter and Summer
